When I heard the pastor say this morning that our... Many are becoming discouraged. What we need brother is take courage. What we need is to be encouraged. And it's right. Trials may come; we never was promised to be immune from them; but He will give grace to go through them. If the mountain's too high to go over, too deep to go under it, too wide to go around it, He will give grace to go through it. That's right. Just don't worry, but keep your eyes on Christ, for He's the only one that can take us through.
Are you discouraged today because you’re facing a difficult battle? We all have things that come against us in life and encounter unfair people and situations. But just because you have opposition doesn’t mean you’re not in God’s will. God is in control, and He’s directing your steps. What’s meant for your harm, God is going to use to your advantage, blessing and victory. Happy New Month.
When you are tempted to get discouraged, remind yourself that according to God's word, your future is getting brighter; you are on your way to a new level of glory. You may think you've got a long way to go, but you need to look back at how far you've already come. You may not be everything you want to be but atleast you can thank God that you're not what you used to be.
The truth is we all get tired, we all get weary. In fact, if you never feel like giving up, then your dreams are too small. If you never feel like quitting, then you need to set some larger goals. When that pressure comes to get discouraged and to think about how you can't take it anymore, that is completely normal. Every person feels that way at times.
I want to reach out to those who are feeling particularly overwhelmed and discouraged this season. Perhaps you have lost a loved one or have changed environment and you feel alone. Or maybe the year has been unusually tough for you, finance and health wise. You may be carrying burdens or think you have nothing to celebrate this Christmas, but the truth is, this season is especially for you.
