Worship is like a bridge into the Spiritual realm. It takes us into God's presence and to become aware of His presence is part of worship. We need to flow under the direction of the Holy Spirit because he has new things for us in every service.
The word visited is the Greek word episkeptomai. It means 'to look upon in order to help or to benefit, to look after, have care for, provide for: of God.
The way we live our lives—the witness we give to those who watch us—reflects the apostolic ministry that birthed and/or discipled us.
All of us who believe on Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are epistles of Christ. What does that mean? It means that believers and unbelievers alike look upon us and 'read' the gospel by the way we live our lives.
Active faith is what breeds the perfect environment for the supernatural blessing of God. When you have an active faith, you can receive supernatural healing, deliverance, divine warnings of danger up ahead, provision, and protection.
We cannot control what people do and say. What we can control is how we respond to it, the way we think, and how we allow what others do and say to affect our lives.
Set your heart upon God. Make the clear decision to serve God and love Him with all your heart. Be a man of God. Love His Word. Love His Spirit. Love what is right and holy. Love the things of God. Declare that you will not be ashamed to be a man of God in all your ways, never compromising.
Let every plant that my Father has not planted be rooted out in the name of Jesus. I lay the ax to the root of every evil tree in my life. Let every ungodly generational taproot be cut and pulled out of my bloodline in the name of Jesus. Let the roots of wickedness be as rottenness.
People have no argument against the raw power of God. They have a difficult time explaining these things away. They are forced to rethink their positions and come face-to-face with the truth. Apostles come, not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.
Shalom is the Hebrew word usually translated 'peace,' which means prosperity, harmony (within and without), completeness, wholeness, health, welfare, safety, soundness, tranquility, fullness, rest, the absence of agitation or discord, a state of calm without anxiety or stress.
God is calling and transitioning many of His ministers. Many have been called to be prophets, but they are fearful. Don't be a Jonah. Don't run from the call. Embrace it. The prophet's ministry is designed to bring deliverance and salvation to many. Nineveh was spared and blessed because Jonah went there.
The story of Jonah shows us the importance of the call of the prophet. Prophets are different. Prophets are unique. Prophets don't ask to be called or chosen. Prophets are called from the womb. Prophets pay a price for running and hiding. Jonah ended up in the belly of a great fish.
What is your assignment? How many lives hang in the balance as a result of your calling? How many people will be blessed when you obey God? This is a call for the Jonahs to arise and go to Nineveh. Where is your Nineveh? Whom are you sent to? These are questions every prophet has to answer.
Jonah did go to Nineveh. Jonah did speak the word of the Lord to that city. The results were astonishing. The whole city repented and was spared. Jonah's assignment was to speak to a city.
When you reject Jesus, you reject your only hope for peace and prosperity.
Prophets are focused and like praying the plans and purposes of God. Prophets don't want to just pray about anything and everything. Prophets want to 'zero in' on what God wants to do. They want to hit the 'bull's-eye.' Prophets are focused on the will of God in a situation. If you want to hit the target, ask a prophet to pray.
