God has become secondary in the minds of His creation, then it wonders why things are the way they are. Something to think about!
Media has diverted our attention from the important. Remember Phil 4:8: Truth, Honor, Right, Lovely, let your mind dwell on these things.
Procrastination, in my case, usually comes when an idea or concept has not been fully developed in my mind, so I just sit until I work it out mentally. Self-Doubt comes to me, if I am not sure of God's position on any given issue or if what I am doing does not seem wise.
Doubt is a product of not being confident, and confidence, in my case, comes from God's assurances in life.
For one to define and understand the nature of the universe, one must first understand the nature of the force behind its existence.
It has always been my belief that if you don’t ask the right questions, you won’t get the right answers.
In reality, mankind is still metaphysically in God’s likeness, but God’s image in mankind has been altered by sin. We can no longer duplicate or reflect God’s attitudes as we once could do. That is, we can no longer be holy as God is holy. Our morality has been altered and no longer has the capability to duplicate or reflect God’s image. So what is the answer? Can this image be repaired or made whole again? The answer is, YES!
Morality is totally God's standard, and his standards and conditions are revealed to us through his written word, the Scriptures (The Bible).
Attitude is a state of mind that results in an action taken or an emotion displayed. Attitude, in the end, is a motivator or that which generates or reflects motives.
For biblical truth to be true, it must agree with all other biblical truth.
Summaries without background or study will lead to discussions without understanding.
To understand an issue or someone’s argument about anything, one needs to understand the very nature of the issue, which is the foundational question concerning anything.
Wisdom plus knowledge equals understanding.
Good teaching gains its authority from having consistent and repeated support from multiple scriptural sources, and it builds a firm base for our unity and our confidence in Christ.
Remember, morality is God’s standard, not humankind’s standard. So it is important that we understand the process that God used to bring us his wisdom, truth and historical perspective.
The covenants are thus fulfilled through the teamwork of the whole Trinity; otherwise the Gospel is dead and ineffective - as the Apostle Paul explains in First Corinthians 15:12-17.
