That's our job as Christians—to perpetually bring renewal and supply everywhere we go. When things get out of hand and situations on earth start to go wild (whether it's the economy, or politics, or natural disasters) we're not supposed to jump into the flow of negativity with everyone else and start talking about how bad things are. We're supposed to change them!
The apostle Paul urges Christians everywhere in all ages to be nonconformists as far as the world system is concerned. We are not to conform. A true Christian, living an obedient life, is a constant rebuke to those who accept the moral standards of this world.
It is important to emphasize that the Gospel centers in the death and resurrection of Jesus. In 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 Paul sums up its message in three historical facts: “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures... He was buried... He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
