The gospel of Jesus transcended every boundary of time, space, culture and language. It was spread over the world. The Word prevailed, but not because of television, radio or mass media of any kind. The Word prevailed because it was alive in the hearts of men and women who followed Jesus.
People can try to create or form a being but it would not be a living being. We are Spirit beings and have the life of God. Anything that does not have the life of God is dead. It takes the life of God for any being formed to be alive.
Times change. God doesn’t, but times do. We learn and grow, and the world around us shifts, and the Christian faith is alive only when it is listening, morphing, innovating, letting go of whatever has gotten in the way of Jesus and embracing whatever will help us be more and more the people God wants us to be.
