Our mistakes no longer define who we are, but instead we are to find worth in the name of Jesus. But we are not called to take this gift and run, or to ignore God, but to pursue him and thank him for the liberation he has provided us.
There is no doubt that the battle for our soul rages more intensely everyday. Yet, I have for many years been concerned that the church has a tragic propensity to shoot its wounded. I believe that these wounded soldiers have some insights to share that would help others of us not to make similar mistakes.
Failure is not fatal nor that you are finished but the result of unfinished product waiting to be reproduced, reprocessed and polished. Failure is that you have learned your omissions, mistakes or what you did not do right or well at the last attempt. You can transform failure into a fortune by dealing with what went wrong. Failure is only a product of uncorrected mistakes.
