Working hard and doing doing great work is as imperative as breathing. Creating great work warms the heart and enriches the soul. Those of us lucky enough to spend our days doing something we love, something we're good at, are rich. If you do not work passionately (even furiously) at being the best in the world at what you do, you fail your talent, your destiny, and your God.
To God your Creator and Savior you are born with purpose, you are born with gifts, talents, and abilities that make you special and with a special purpose in His Kingdom. You are loved and chosen for the family of God by God who proudly calls you His child and rejoices when you call Him Father.
He don't want ten percent of your money, so much as He wants your time, your talent, your testimony, and all that you are to be given into His hands, so He can control you. He wants to be your Lord; not only your Saviour, but your Lord--lordship, to govern you.
I didn't have any looks, I didn't have any talent, and it was easy for me to say to the Lord, 'I don't have anything.' If you only knew where I came from ... this leetle-bitty town with no more than twelve hundred people in it. So ... anything I am today, He is the one who has done it.
